You might remember that Dota Client has been broken ever since the beginning of July, when the 1.22 battle.net patch came out for Frozen Throne. Two months later falltime, Dota Client’s long lost developer, finally surfaced and had something to say about it on the DXD Forums:

Yeah, I’ll bring it [Dota Client] back for you kids. Probably start back on it at the end of the week.

Was out of town for 46 days on business relations, while juggling meetings and an estranged wife on the verge of seeking a divorce – there simply wasn’t any “extra” time to fix DotA Client.

I won’t be holding my breath, but it would definitely be nice to have Dota Client back.
