Recap and Highlights
Chu took an initial lead in creep score only to be harassed back by tabako early in the game. From this point, tabako took over the lead and steadily built a creep score advantage with an advanced stance in the lane. Both players battled for creeps and harassed but neither made any serious attempts on a hero kill until late in 15 minute match. At 14:30, chu took advantage of tabako’s advanced position on chu’s ramp and drove for a kill as tabako retreated. Tabako barely escaped chu’s barrage of attacks on his Voodoo Puppet to survive and win the match. The kill would have brought chu within 5 points of tabako’s match score (based on 1 point for each creep kill or deny, 15 points for a hero kill and 10 for a tower), and likely won him the match. In the end, tabako wins over chu by a combined creep score of 103-85.

Um why did Chu farm when whiplash was up? Tabako actually harassed with it giving him an easy advantage. I was watching this thinking “lol? is chu really getting out harassed in situations as easy as going for creeps.”
It was a pretty strange match. You get the impression that these guys may not play Puppet very much and were also maybe nervous. Tabako was way more aggressive with harassing and just standing farther forward to impose himself on the lane, but then there where times where he got plenty close enough to kill chu but then didn’t use his disable spell and ult to kill him. Of course he had a substantial creep lead and could pretty much put it in autopilot but it still seems like he would want to kill him if possible. Like at 14:50 in the Honcast video chu is literally diving the tower with half health to get after tabako and tabako doesn’t even use his ultimate which almost certainly would have gotten him the kill. Would have been nice to see the spells get used more but in the end you can’t really criticize a victory since the way he played won him the match. Also its way more easy to talk about this type of thing when you’re watching than to actually do it under pressure when tons of people are watching.
