Vote Kick should only require votes from ONE team to kick a player
The purpose of Vote Kick is to remove a griefer from your team that is ruining your game.
This doesn’t work if your opponents (the other team) are unwilling to cooperate, since right now Vote Kick requires THEIR approval to kick someone.
Why should the other team have any say in whether your team kicks someone from your team?
What incentive does the other team have to HELP YOU WIN THE GAME by getting rid of a griefer?
If someone on your team is throwing the game, it is in your opponents’ best interests NOT to help you kick them so that they keep winning the game.
It’s clear that vote kick should only require votes from one team to kick a player from their own team. There is absolutely no reason the other team should be involved in these negotiations at all.
Let’s remember this is a COMPETITION and they want to WIN.
If more kick abuse occurs due to this, then let the Report a Player system sort it out.
Many less games will be ruined by having griefers successfully kicked than by having innocent people wrongfully kicked.

Agreed. Also if there’s a leaver the RM vote should only need the four from the leaver’s team and at most one from the other team, it’s dumb because half these 1700 kids need MMR so bad they won’t RM a 5v4.

Now you just want more. This shit would lead to abuse without end. Your support didn’t upgrade the chicken? Kick him. Accidentally stole a kill? Kick him. Got ganked? Kick him (you don’t want feeders on your team, after all.) It’s hard enough to determine what is a fair kick now, after all, and it’s clear that unfair kicks would only increase if they listened to you.
Even though it’s fun to kick people.. It’s not in anyone’s best interest to play 4v5 .. cumdumpster

i had a game where it was me and four brazil guys, after getting ganked maybe 5-6 minutes in they immediately vote kicked from the game. maybe you are right in that its better to easily kick griefers than to get griefed yourself, but its still a tough line to walk.
Why are brazilians so bad at HoN? I really don’t get it. Every other country seems to have a bell curve of skill levels…but Brazilians are universally horrible.

fact is there isn’t really much of a solution, yeah for a lot of people, four votes for a kick would be perfect, so just kick the griefer and move on with the game, but it could be exploited by a lot of people and people could get kicked for really stupid shit.
only thing i can think of is your way (only griefer’s team able to vote for the kick), and stats from the game (kills, deaths, etc) count, but not give people a leaver % for getting kicked. then you can get rid of griefers/feeders, but if someone gets kicked for no reason, it doesn’t screw up their leaver % and stop them from playing mm.
idk how i feel about that really though. just contributing to the discussion i guess.

No, those 60 passwords were leaked by S2 somehow and thats why they told people to change their passwords,they didnt get hacked because of not changing their passwords, their passwords just remained known to the hackers because they werent changed.
This could never happen. So much votekick abuse would happen, it wouldn’t even be funny. At 15 minutes, 4 out of 5 players wanna concede a game (even when its winnable) and so they kick the non-conceder. Someone first picks scout and he is kicked for that. I’m not saying I disagree with the post (I completely agree that requiring the other team’s consent to kick someone is ridiculous), but I don’t think this could ever happen due to the abuse that would follow.

doesnt seem like you want hon to do well. everything you complain about only affects the top tier players. the majority of players(1650<) don't care about the small things you complain about (hellborne advantage, for example). i understand that for you high tier players having someone on your team that misses stuns/gets ganked/ doesnt want to buy wards all game must be frustrating. but truth is most players are like that. being able to kick them only makes them not want to play hon. you might not miss stuns or make as many mistakes but you probably dont want to buy wards all game every game either. i have a few friends that went to l.o.l just because its alot easier to play and they basically got trolled out of hon. the changes you want made would make the game more enjoyable for the good players, but it would do so by pushing 75% of the players out of the game. the things you want changed wouldn't make the game better for the majority of the community.

groups of 4 would kick the 5th player so often it wouldnt be effective at all. just to troll them. its not always 1 person thats the troll think about 4 of you who carried a sub par player to a win. what would stop you from kicking him as you kill the throne? nothing
They should make kick vote require 5/5 votes, but only your own team can vote, that would solve all problems.
