<p>If you try to tether a unit that is a outside its range (by up to 900) Io will latch on and pull himself closer to the unit.</p>
<p>Tether transfers other states on the hero to the allied unit. This includes Overcharge, Relocate and any time you regenerate hp/mp.</p>

Io summons 5 ancient Spirits over the course of 6 seconds; the Spirits dance around Io in a circle to protect him. If an enemy hero moves close enough to touch a Spirit, the Spirit releases its life energy in a burst, damaging and slowing all enemies in a 300 area of effect. Non hero units only take minor damage upon touching a spirit and do not cause them to explode.</p>
<p>You have two sub abilities. One to move them outwards and one to call them back in. You can stop them at any distance by toggling the ability order.</p>

If a unit is affected again in this duration, the toxin will be renewed and amplified exponentially. At the end of the duration, the shadow poison deals extra damage for each time it affected the victim. You have small vision over affected heroes.</p>

Stuns the target for 2.5 seconds and deals damage based on how much it traveled. The missle can be destroyed by 3 attacks from a hero or tower.</p>

<p>1) RawR &#8211; RawR is the Wal-Mart of HoN clans. It&#8217;s some massive superstore filled with cheap trash that poor people go to because they can&#8217;t go anywhere else due to skill level. Basically, clan RawR holds inhouses, which is like a giant, fester cow turd of a game with illiterate monkeys attempting to actually play this game. Requirement for RawR? Own a keyboard and be able to double knot your shoes. I still think half these kids are in diapers because they&#8217;re so fucking incompetent and lack the basic functions of normal humans; as such, they often find themselves defecating all over their Elmo boxers grandma got them at the secret santa exchange last year. Disgusting publics.</p>
<p>2). Clan Kiwi &#8211; Aussie crocodile shit players that are utterly clueless. I have never played with 1 good KiWi member, and have the &#8216;mass recruit&#8217; strategy down. They always complain about lag. Basically, their internet connection is a large red party cup with a white string that attached to some Mexican&#8217;s house on the west side of California. They yell their command into one end of the cup, and their hero is dead by the time is reached the west coast server.  What has really happened is that giant ozone hole as started to burn through their skulls, affecting their ability to judge everything. The only things to come out of Australia that were good are AC/DC and Crocodile Hunter. Everything else, including this clan and all of its members, make me barf all over my keyboard and consider slamming my balls with an icepick. Even more disgusting publics.</p>

<p>So I check his stats and he&#8217;s 45% Pollywog Priest.  This pub&#8217;s got more games of Pollywog Priest than most people have of HoN, and he&#8217;s fucking terrible at it.  <a href="http://stats.maide.ca/players/view/Feynn/heroes/">Maide&#8217;s HoN Stats</a> has him with a lower winning percentage with PP than with the rest of his heroes combined.</p>
<p>Turns out all he does is rush Stormspirit and go around trying to ward trap people.  Game after game after game after game after game.  Meanwhile the carries on the other team free farmed a 12 min Savage Mace and are shitting damage onto his face.  Nuff said&#8230;<strong><br />

He says he was not happy with the  negative and uninformed comments made by DotA players and fans with  their claims that HoN is just a bad/stolen DotA copy, while they are not  aware of what was going on behind the scenes of the development of LoL,  HoN and DotA. <p><em>&#8220;Basically, I&#8217;m getting sick of the zealous  supporters of IceFrog who bash HoN, or label S2 Games as thieves for  &#8220;stealing&#8221; IceFrog&#8217;s work. My peak was during the ESWC livestream, where  MadMortigan portrayed IceFrog as an amazing selfless developer who  never accepted donations or money for his time on DotA, and slighted S2  for stealing IceFrog&#8217;s work.  Though I no longer play DotA, I still love  and follow both games &#8212; I just think it is time for people to know the  real story.</em></p>
<p><em>In the Summer of 2009 I was called to the Riot Games (developers of  League of Legends) office as part of an advisory panel of DotA players  to give our input on making LoL a more competitive game. During my time  spent at the office, as well as in private conversations with several  high ranking Riot employees, I acquired a fair amount of info about  IceFrog and what actually goes on behind the scenes.</em> <em> </em></p>
<p><em>During the early stages of 2006, Ice was fresh out of college and  interviewed at Riot Games for the position of head developer for League  of Legends. He wanted a few hundred thousand dollars, his share of  profits, seat on the board of directors (next to several VERY highly  renowned and experienced folks in the game industry, where as Ice was  merely the developer of a single WC3 custom map), and 100% full creative  control. While relations were cordial, I was informed that he was  basically laughed out of the office for his ridiculous demands.</em> <em> </em></p>
<p><em>Shortly after this period, he secretly went around bidding the idea of  developing a DotA clone to various game companies, accompanied by an  agent who&#8217;s name I cannot recall. It was not long before he was hired at  S2 games. He worked there for a few years &#8211;based on the information I  received from Riot Games, I believe sometime not long after his  interview at Riot (2006) to sometime before the 2009 beta launch at  which point he and S2 split ways due to unknown complications.</em> <em><br />

Given my experience as a beta tester and the fact that IceFrog would be  on the beta forums all day long working on and releasing DotA beta  patches, it is not hard to speculate that he was paid a significant  amount of money to work on HoN and to continue developing DotA in the  meanwhile. It was hardly a &#8220;free project&#8221; for him if he got anything  close to what he wanted from Riot. If this is indeed the case, DotA  would not be the game it is today without S2&#8242;s employment and funding of  IceFrog. Mind you, Ice reassured his beta testers that he was not  involved in ANY other projects(blatantly false). His involvement in HoN  went WAY beyond simply the blessing he gave to the game in a post on his  blog back in the Summer of 2009.  HoN was developed by IceFrog to be  the next-gen version of DotA for the community, not some cheap copy made  by developers trying to cash in on the game&#8217;s popularity.</em></p>
<p><em>Several other details about IceFrog were also shared with me during my  visit, including his real name.  I have no interest in revealing the  private information of someone who has his own reasons for long staying  under the radar, but considering how ridiculous the HoN vs DotA argument  has become, I felt I should shed some light on it.&#8221;</em></p>

<div>The veracity of the statement is what is in question. I&#8217;d like to say that, given my DotA/HoN competitive experience (8+ years), Emperor has always been one of the best-mannered and most credible players in the scene. He&#8217;s low-key and I really doubt he&#8217;d make this up. I don&#8217;t say that about much of anyone since I think almost everyone is a dick-off, but Emperor is an exception. I have no reason to believe he&#8217;d lie about this, and if S2 really did pay Icefrog to help develop their game and not tell anyone, that&#8217;s a lack of transparency on their part.</div>
<div>It should be noted that S2 has not confirmed or denied this, and that the article was removed from SK gaming. Since Emperor is no doubt a very credible source, I do not understand why it would be removed.</div>
<div>UPDATE:</div>
<div>I was contacted by the writer, Mario, about this story. It is a great piece and I have no idea why it should be kept secret. I think it sheds a lot of light on Icefrog, S2 and all people involved. Journalists crave this stuff.</div>

<p>How does SK gaming continue to let this public play in their games? Bdiz never does good, ever. When is the last time anyone has heard Breaky go &#8220;Bdiz on X hero REALLY making good plays here!&#8221;. Never. He never plays anything of importance past Plague Rider because he can&#8217;t. In fact, he plays carries on his alternate account in 1550/1600 pubs (HellodotJpg) and barely manages it. He tried to toss a game and went 0-22 on my team, and still won. I shit you not. He is utterly useless at everything.</p>
<p>He was wildabeast in DotA. For you of those that don&#8217;t know who that is, there is a reason. He played like 3500 ladder games and was decent at DotA. Nobody gave a rats shit about Willdabeast. Because this talentless dumpster rides Testie&#8217;s dick every 1700 no ab game, he has a chip on his shoulder. When big teams come knocking, Bdiz is the first to fall behind.</p>
<p>So here it is. There are much better players out there and more qualified to start on the team.  I could think of a few hard support (myself included) that could run circles around this talentless dick off. Truth is, he&#8217;s garbage. LOAD has Fujiapples, superior to Bdiz in every aspect of the game. They have yoda (who can only play slither), but that&#8217;s 1 more hero than this kid. MSI has Duqi who makes clutch support plays, but SK is left holding the towel on Bdiz. I literally barfed all over my keyboard watching him play Behemoth in the Semifinals of the honcast invitational. Level 10, 30+ minute dagger. Cut this baggage.</p>
<p>End of story.</p>
<p>So here is the call for action. Kick this pile of trash off the starting roster and replace him with someone that knows more than how to TP and die.</p>
<p>UPDATE:</p>
<p>My harassment of Bdiz&#8217;s landed me a 1 week forum ban on HoN forums after posting about how terrible his Behemoth was. The soft-skinned crybaby continues to hide behind the powerful when he is openly criticized for his dumpy play. Good thing Dotally Rad will never censor opinions of the trash in a good team.</p>
